From their humble origin as a barn for horses, the stables in Holguín were transformed into homes and a boutique hotel where visitors, who prefer to experience something different, escape to. The Hotel E. Caballeriza in an excellent spot in the city of Holguín, emerged from these stables, and has been attractively designed and is known for the hospitality of its staff.
The hotel sits in the heart of the historic center of Holguín, a city also known as the City of Parks.

The hostel, recently restored, opened in a building dating to 1810 which was once home to the city’s cavalry barracks. Today the building is a boutique hotel in traditional style but with all the modern facilities required by the modern traveler.
Boasting traditional architecture featuring Baroque and Moorish influences, the hotel ambience recreates that of a 19th-century family home adorned with decorative elements related to the history of the building as a stable for horses.
