Captain’s Cottage

This delightful vacation rental cottage is located on a quiet Rockport lane less than 100 yards from the sands of Cape Hedge Beach. Just cross the lane and walk over the footbridge and you’re on the beach!

This cozy two bedroom beach house is pine-paneled, in the traditional summer cottage style. The kitchen is simple, but has all the necessities. The comfortable living room, where you can wind down after a day at the beach, has a beautiful ornamental fireplace.

Both bedrooms have air conditioning. The front queen bedroom has peekaboo views of the ocean and the back bedroom is furnished with two twin beds. The full bathroom (with stand-up shower) completes the home.

The grounds of the property are classic Cape Ann, including views of the sea and rugged granite boulders that grace the yard. A picnic table under the trees is situated so that even the most casual meals have an ocean view. After a day at the beach, enjoy rinsing off in the outdoor shower that has both hot and cold water.

There is parking for two cars at Captain’s Cottage.
