The Bluest City – Cape Town!

With the iconic Table Mountain in the backdrop, Cape town will give you scenic locations at every layover. It spreads out on a beautiful coastline with sandy white beaches. It’s a beautiful city to just be in and not necessarily do anything. Just take long beach walks, go to the weekend markets and enjoy plenty of seafood!

What To Do Around The City?

A very touristy place is the ‘Boulder’s beach’ where you can meet African penguins in huge numbers. Next, you can drive up to the ‘Cape of good hope’, the most south western point of the African continent. Here, you can witness the Atlantic ocean’s salt kissing the Indian ocean waves.

another long and fulfilling drive is along the Chapman’s peak on the west coast. The whole road trip is sea scenic, so don’t forget your cameras.
As far as accommodation is concerned, a 6-star hotel is also affordable in Cape Town. You can also book dorm rooms, hostels or even apartments near the coastline.

For Some Sporty Fun, Try These Few Places:

You can hike the Table Mountain all the way to the top. If you’re not much of a trekking personality, you can go till the ‘Lion’s head’, just a 45-minute mountain climb, also known as the ‘Sister of the Table Mountain’ and view a low blanket of clouds right beneath your feet!
If you want to take your family for a wholesome picnic, visit the ‘Kirstenbosch Garden’ and spend an entire day just lazing around. On your way back, you can visit the most colorful town in South Africa, ‘Bo-keep’, a Muslim neighborhood with the most beautifully built and painted houses.

Some Tips For An Exquisite Experience:

Be sure to take your accommodation near Camps Bay, Sea point or the V & A waterfront so that you can appreciate the beautiful sunsets every evening.

For traveling, buses or taxis are available, but we suggest, you book Uber’s as it’s the safest option in this town especially during the no-rush hours!
Apart from all these, you can indulge in Sunset cruises with breaching whales and champagne, attending jazz concerts, shopping at the weekend markets, canyoneering or just spending time with wildlife which is there in-plenty!

Don’t forget to visit the political prison on ‘Robben Island’ if you have the time left and surf on your way back to Muizenberg beach if you’re not afraid to do so! Cape Town will give you the right mix of seafood, colorful places, scenic sea views and a versatile arena of culture! We hope you are able to extract most of it.
